An old witch in his early 60s and a somewhat reclusive member of the Iron Filings. Elide was once a researcher working for the Slough Institute, but now has a reputation as a strange old man who can talk for hours about the most absurd and impractical ideas for magical devices. There are also rumours he gets quite annoyed when people mispronounce his name.
He doesn't appear to have a profile on Witchnet. Googling his name returns an angry blog post in which he condemns mass surveillance and explains how to use PGP for encryption, as well as a few posts to mailing lists about magic and summoning.
